Sup’Air Strike: hike-and-fly competition harness

Sup'Air Strike

Sup’Air have made a super lightweight pod harness, especially for competition hike-and-fly events. It evolved from their 2015 X-Alps harness, and they say it has a similar feel and comfort to the Delight 2.

It’s a step-through, split-leg design with a removable mini seatplate, and a certified 14cm Bumpair back protector. Available in two sizes (M or L), the M weighs 2,140g with all the bits, or it can be stripped down to just 1,460g (no seat plate or backl protection). Sup’Air also sell a lighter but uncertified Bumpair, for those preferring a middle ground. This option brings the harness weight to 1,710g.

Sup’air say the Strike has an upright to semi-reclined flying position, with adjustable shoulder, chest and backrest straps. It’s currently EN certified, with LTF certification in process (June 2016).
