Skywalk Cayenne 5 – EN C

Skywalk Cayenne 5

The Cayenne 5 is a slender EN-C sports class wing, “at home in any of the world’s top XC arenas”.

Skywalk say it is more comp wing than its predecessor while managing not to push the boundaries of the EN-C class. It has an aspect ratio of 6.4 and a sharknose, three-line design.

Designer Alex Höllwarth is proud of his latest creation:

The sport class offers more freedom to construct a glider with specific characteristics and without compromises.

Skywalk say the Cayenne 5’s glide is world class, and its handling feels a lot like competition wings: short, crisp brake travel and plenty of energy in reserve to let you adjust your turn radius between flat, even circles and dynamic high-banked turns.

Despite its direct brakes, Skywalk say the stall is pleasantly delayed, thanks in part to Skywalk’s renowned jet flaps.

The Cayenne 5 is certified in sizes S (85-105kg) and M (95-115kg).
