Nova have officially announced the launch of the much-anticipated Mentor 3 – and claim an improvement in glide by 0.6 compared with the Mentor 2.
The Mentor and the Mentor 2 have been hugely successful EN B gliders, and many pilots have been keen to see what improvements Nova will make to the next model.

“Nova promises a considerable improvement in performance (+0.6 glide ratio) and a flatter polar curve (particularly on speed bar),” they said in a statement.
They also say that they have changed the brake geometry so they “don’t get hard as early as they do on the Mentor 2.” The Mentor 3 is “more playful and comfortable.”

Sizes Small and Medium have passed certification and, Nova said, the first wings are already with dealers and paragliding schools.
