Nova say the seventh iteration of their low EN-B Ion is a true all-rounder for site-flying, XC or freestyle, and it is “bomb-proof” in turbulence.
It’s designed for enthusiastic beginners and upwards. Although it has the same cell count and aspect ratio (51 and 5.17) as its predecessor, Nova say it’s a whole new design with performance and top speed close to the high-B Mentor 7 (Light)’s, which it is based on.
The Ion 7 is available in standard and light versions, in five sizes, XXS to L.The light version is 600g-800g lighter, depending on the size, and is made from Dominico 10D and 20D, rather than the 38g/m² and 40g/m² Skytex materials of the Ion 7.
