
AirDesign have unveiled the new Rise 5, their 2.5-liner high EN-B. It has a pair of winglets on the top surface, in addition to Airdesign’s flicked up wing tips.
“Cross-country has never been so accessible!” say AirDesign. The latest version of their high EN-B, the Rise 5, has a 2.5-line construction and incorporates “all the latest technologies to improve the high-speed performance while guaranteeing a smooth and forgiving behaviour”.

The wing features two sets of winglets, with flicked-up wing tips plus a pair of conventional winglets on the top surface.
The Rise 5 has 53 cells and a flat aspect ratio of 5.85. It will be available in six sizes from XXS (flat area 19m² for all-up weights of 50-65kg, extended to 72kg) to size XL (26m² for 115-135kg).
