BGD have released a new version of their ‘performance EN-A’ Magic. The Magic 2 sits above the Adam 2 school glider, and BGD say it will take new pilots from their early soaring flights into cross-country flying.
The company say it’s a durable wing that retains the ease of use and handling of the original Magic, and has improved glide performance at all speeds.
The flat aspect ratio is slightly higher than the Magic’s (4.9 compared to 4.7) and it has a new structure, with a minimalistic bridle layout and more refined distribution of span-wise tensions. They say the long brake travel and high pressure before the stall point mean you will not accidentally stall it.
The Magic 2 is available in five sizes, XS to XL, and three colours.
