BGD have announced their new 2-liner EN-D, the Diva 2. They say they “unashamedly admit we designed her to beat the best of the competition!”
The Diva 2 has “fast, responsive handling, a high top speed, excellent glide and stability at all speeds”. They say it is very stable and the B-pressure is light, which gives the wing a unique feel to fly. “This effect has been achieved by maximising the amount of ‘reflex’ in the shape of the aerofoil. It means you can be really confident to push full bar even in difficult situations”.
It is available in four sizes, S to L. A dedicated load test for size S means it has been made with thinner lines, which lowers drag and “reduces the differences between light and heavy pilots”.
While “relatively easy to fly”, BGD say the Diva 2 is designed for experienced pilots with the glider-handling skills to match a fast and high-performance wing.
