Hello Hawaii. Photographer Jorge Atramiz takes us on a journey through the magnificent aerial landscapes of his home state.
When we asked Jorge Atramiz to put together a set of photographs that captured the spirit of Hawaii, he said Sure, no problem, But I might have to get a few more shots.
Four months later he came back to us. “I’m ready,” he said, and he sent us his selection.
Each photo tells a story of a thousand words, we know, but in this case each photo is also at least a thousand steps. Boy has he worked for his shots! Trekking across the island on the slightest forecast, heading off on glide in the hope of a composition.
Jorge is one of those photographers who is always looking for the heart and soul of a place and its people. With this selection, he has excelled.
