The X-Alps GTO is Woody Valley’s lightweight, distance flying paragliding harness. A cocoon design with a self-inflating rear section, it is built for efficiency as well as for safety and comfort.
The use of materials such as carbon, polyamide and lycra have enabled the weight to be kept to just under 5kg in the L size (the middle of three sizes).
An anti-forget Dual Ring Connection (DRC) system means the front of the pod cannot be closed without the safety straps first being fastened. Other safety features include 12cm foam protection and under-seat reserve pouch.
Easy-reach pockets allow you to access your snacks in flight, and there is a drinks bladder holder and tube routing that emerges at the shoulder so you don’t go thirsty.
Other features include a holder for your trekking poles in the rear pocket, and a removable instrument cockpit that can also house a ballast container.
