Woody Valley have launched their new Race paragliding harness and say it is the most extreme version yet used by their athletes in hike-and-fly competitions.

It has been designed with the help and input of several pilots, including Red Bull X-Alps athlete Aaron Durogati.
The leg cover is attached via a zipper and can be completely removed and replaced. The harness also features a new stabilisation system which allows the pilot to adjust the tension in the chest strap during flight without having to release the controls. This means the characteristics of the glider can be altered from more stable, to more agile while still in the air and maintaining control.
The Race harness also includes a stitched-in Recco reflector to aid search and rescue if necessary. It is available in four sizes, weighing from 1.5kg, with two new kinds of back protection: a half-rigid concept and an inflatable version. The familiar inflatable version is now made from a lighter material, and there is also a new semi-rigid protection version for maximum weight reduction.
