Dav Dagault at the Coupe Icare 2013
We interviewed the Ozone designer and test pilot Dav Dagault at the Coupe Icare at the weekend.
The full video is well worth a watch as he talks about the M6, the Rush 4, the Delta 2 and the Enzo 2 project.
But for those who don’t have the time or the inclination, here are the top five facts from his 8min15sec interview:
1. Ozone’s long-awaited Mantra 6 will be available in time for Christmas 2013
2. The glider will be a three-liner, with performance “close to” that of the current Enzo
3. The Rush 4 will also be released in time for Santa to put one in your stocking
4. The Delta 2 is on its way to being Ozone’s best-selling glider with over 1,000 wings sold in less than 12 months.
5. There is no release date for the Enzo 2. To paraphrase: “We’re working on it.”
6 (a bonus). Designing is an art. “I have an exciting job!”
