The new version of Paragliding Map has recently been released for Android.
Its creator Craig Payne explains:
It has been totally rewritten for the latest version of Android, and includes some highly requested features, including:
Terrain view
- Favourites – Store your favourite launches in an easy shortcut list
- Send my location – If you are in trouble or have landed out after an XC, you can send your location in an email so your friends can find you.
- View in Google Earth 3D – See the landscape as it really appears, with the local sites from Paragliding Map overlaid on the 3D Google Earth map.
- Click on data source – Now you can click on the data source to go to the original information at the DHV, FFVL, Flyland or Paragliding Earth.
