
Naviter have released a smaller, lighter version of the Oudie N, which they say is an all-in-one supporter for your next adventure: the Omni.
With Omni meaning “all and everything”, it’s clear what the aim of the instrument is. Weighing 222g with a 3.5inch colour multi-touch LCD screen, Naviter say the Omni can always be in your pocket and is a “complete cockpit solution”.
At its heart, the Omni is a precise and “instantly responsive” vario – but Naviter have packed a lot into this small package. The small size makes it suitable for everyday XC use and also hike-and-fly.
Naviter promise “seamless integration” with their SeeYou navigation software as well as Fanet+ and up-to-the-minute live weather data. Naviter say this will allow pilots to focus on flying while staying safe and informed.
Naviter also say their continuous software development will ensure pilots have the latest features and functionality – software upgrades will be free throughout Omni’s lifetime.
Retail price is around €795, or equivalent. Features of the Omni include:
