After taking second place at the Ozone Chabre Open the week before, Jens Cullmann (DE) went on to win the GIN Wide Open 2015 in Tolmin, Slovenia.
In second place was Slovenian Simon Konavec, followed by the first woman and the first GIN pilot in, Petra Slivova (CZ). Verena Puttrich (DE) and Ella Pyrah (GB) were second and third women, and Andrew Craig was the lucky winner of a GIN glider of his choice.
Five tasks were flown over the week from 4-11 July 2015 with plenty of pilots enjoying fabulous flying and cold goal beers. The event’s trademark evening talks, task debriefs and funny photo contests kept pilots entertained all week, and itching to sign up again next year. Dates and venue for the 2016 event will be released in October 2015.
