Stodeus have announced a new addition to their range of tiny solar-powered flight instruments. The UltraBip is an alti-vario with a GPS logger, voice assistant and Bluetooth and it is expected to be on sale in summer 2022.
Its Instant Vario technology uses accelerometers and gyroscopes for an instant vario response. The instrument connects via Bluetooth to a range of flight apps including XCTrack, FlySkyHy, SeeYou, and works with iOs and Android devices. Your flight log can be exported in IGC and KML formats.
The UltraBip is equipped with the latest SunPower solar cell, and has an innovative Dual Speaker design which makes it very energy efficient.
For an instant in-flight data readout, double-tap the device and the voice assist will read out your altitude, speed, average climb rate, flight duration and more, in your language.
