
Spanish pilot Rafael Rosa Prat won the BGD edition of the Sports-Class Racing Series 2024 in his home country. The competition was held in Berga in the Pyrenees, with four varied tasks of 45.1km, 46.3km, 65.6km and 64.6km.
Pál Takáts was second overall, flying an EN-B Ozone Rush. The first placed woman was Chile’s Lene Spaarwater, ahead of Yuki Sato Colombé. The teams prize went to team Masterclass, with Ozone Team 1 and BGD in second and third places.
Yuki Sato Colombé also won the top prize of a brand new BGD paraglider of her choice in the prize draw, and Arnold Castro went home with a smile on his face and a new Naviter Omni in his flight deck.
Three rounds remain in the SRS series for 2024:

- Krushevo, North Macedonia: 25-31 August
- Saint André-les-Alpes: 9-15 September
