This FAI Cat 1 continental championship launches from the Mungyeong Dan Mountain – one of the most famous paragliding sites in South Korea. The area has hosted numerous PWC events and national championships, and thanks to its long ridges, valleys and mountains, organisers will have plenty of choice when setting interesting and challenging tasks.

There is no limit on team size and some of the 25 nations are taking full advantage – 21 confirmed pilots from Australia, 30 from China, and 30 from the host nation, South Korea. Medals will be awarded in overall, women’s and nations (teams).

Cross Country will be reporting from the competition with updates online and on social media.
