The new three-line EN B paraglider from Apco, the Vista II SP (sport), is now ready in two sizes.
A complete redesign from the original Vista and the result of two years’ development, Apco believe it is amongst the best in its class in terms of performance, handling, safety and feel.
Rather than increase the aspect ratio, performance improvements have come from reducing drag, so as not to sacrifice any safety or handling. Making it a three-liner has saved 100m of line, they say; drag-reducing bullet risers and minimal drag integrated hook up points have also lead to performance gains.
The Vista II SP is lighter than the Vista, and still uses Apco’s double-coated cloth for durability.
Other features include Apco’s HIT valves and flexon battens, neodynium magnets and swivels on the brakes to prevent the lines from kinking.
The S and M sizes are certified, with XS and L to follow.
