Advance’s new Sigma 8 performance intermediate paraglider

Advance have almost completed their new Sigma 8 performance intermediate paraglider, and expect to release it in early 2011.

The company describe the new wing, which will be certified EN / LTF C, as a genuine three liner right at the top of the Intermediate class, that is above all fun to fly.

They summarise it as a sporty glider with outstanding handling. It has an aspect ratio of 6 and a top speed of 55 km/hr, plus a new reduced weight of only 5.6 kg for the medium size.

Nylon wires now replace Mylar to reinforce the leading edge . 

Advance have added two new colours to their glider palette – azure blue and bronze. The Sigma 8 will be available in five colour combinations and four sizes.
