Advance have announced their new EN-A school paraglider, the Alpha 6, will be in the skies from November 2015.
They say the Alpha 6 has an exceptionally easy launch behaviour and is very comfortable in the air.
A simplified line layout with three risers (plus a big ears riser) and two gallery levels makes line sorting very easy, and an air scoop allows for even longer brake travel – a safety asset on a wing of this level.
3D shaping has improved performance, and the Alpha 6 is lighter – 4.75kg for the middle, 26m2, size, compared to 5kg for the Alpha 5 in this size.
It will be produced in five sizes: 22, 24, 26, 28 and 31m2, the first gliders being delivered in early November.
