The latest issue of Cross Country magazine is out now, and is essential reading for anyone who wants to know more about Chrigel Maurer and how he flies.

Cross Country’s Hugh Miller has been the Red Bull X-Alps race reporter for a decade, and has a unique insight into what the X-Alps is really like.

So when he sat down to interview Chrigel after his historic third win this summer, he knew exactly what to ask.

“To say he’s an eagle, he’s untouchable, is a great compliment to Chrigel – but it also conveniently lets the rest of us off the hook from even trying to fly as well as him,” says Hugh.

“That may be a dream, but the truth of it is there’s much we can learn from Christian Maurer.”

The resulting interview offers a unique insight into how Chrigel flies, with great practical advice on how you too can ‘Fly more like Chrigel’. The way Maurer explains it, it doesn’t seem all that complicated!
