Back in March we reported on Francois Bon’s solo speedriding descent of Aconcagua, highest peak in the Americas at close on 7,000m.
He did the whole descent with a video camera strapped to his person, so now we can enjoy the rush of this amazing feat. Fast, furious and very close to the terrain.
After 11 days of approach and climbing in winter conditions, Francois said the 3,000 metres of descent were “eaten” in just 4 minutes 50 seconds!
“At altitude, things happen so fast! I fell from the sky along the walls—it was incredible…!” he said.
