Aircross say their new 41m2 Double U paraglider is EN-B certified for solo or tandem use, rated from 130-220kg.
The company say it is exceptionally easy to launch and has high passive safety in flight while still being agile and fun to fly.
The Double U’s gliding performance has benefitted from the V-ribs and rigid foils that support the profile, and it has split A risers to make Big Ears easy, and a trimmer system for a good speed range.
The canopy uses 38g/m2 cloth on both upper and lower surfaces, with 42g/m2 on the leading edge, which Aircross say have reduced its packed weight (8.7kg) and volume.
All new AirCross wings, with the exception of the U Infinite acro glider, bought from 1 April 2015 onwards now benefit from AirCross’s insurance cover.
The cover lasts for a year, or up to four years if you have your glider serviced annually. To be eligible for the warranty you must register your wing on Aircross’s website within 14 days of purchase.
