Alex Höllwarth’s new brand, Zoom have released a new EN-A paraglider called the XA. It is the second wing to come from the new brand.
Zoom say the XA is robustly made to cope with the demands of training. All Porcher cloth, it is made from Skytex 38 on top and Eazyfly 40 underneath with 13mm Kevlar risers. All but the top gallery lines are sheathed.
Zoom say the XA is easy and forgiving to launch and very collapse-resistant. Handling is precise, turns intuitive, and the “low but well-defined” brake pressure ramps up as you approach stall point.
Five sizes are defined by upper weight limits (85, 95, 105, 115, 125), the naming system Skywalk use.
