A new firmware upgrade is now available for Brauniger's IQ Basic GPS/vario flight instrument

Bräuniger have released a firmware upgrade, version 1.3.02, for their IQ-Basic/GPS flight instrument.

Up to 200 waypoints can now be stored, and a new ‘pre-thermal’ vario sound signals weak thermals. The wind calculator is now more accurate than before, using average calculations from several turns.

New functions for competition pilots include required glide ratio to goal and actual glide ratio, and multiple start and cylinder entry and exit times.
