Swing’s serial class Stratus 8

Swing have made a new serial class paraglider for advanced and ambitious competition pilots: the Stratus 8.

It is certified EN D, and the 23 to 25 m² sizes will be available from 21 February. These cover all-up weights of 90 – 125kg, with both a smaller and a larger size to follow.

The Stratus 8 has an aspect ratio of 7.4 and, the company claim, a glide ratio of more than 10. Swing believe that this combined with its easy launch, excellent climb rate, good bite into thermals, nice handling and stability will make it a popular choice for competition pilots looking for the security of a serial class wing.
