Sol have revamped their professional acro wing, and the Supersonic has been reborn as the Supersonic 2011.
A non-certified wing, it is intended for top-level, experienced acro pilots. The Brazilian company hope it will be even better than the original, which graced many an acro competition podium worldwide.
The Supersonic 2011 has flexible battens in the leading edge, with diagonal ribs and carbon/Mylar reinforcements. It is made entirely from WTX40 (40g/m2) fabric, and has a very smooth, clean sail, according to Sol.
Its small size means it has a high internal pressure and is fast and agile, with direct and sensitive handling.
The Supersonic 2011 is available in six sizes, with 14 to 25m2 surface areas.
