The new Sol Mountain Light Calliplox paraglider harness weighs in at just 3.6kg, and the company believe that makes it one of the lightest on the market with its spec, which includes 18cm foam protection and a Cygnus airbag.
Its lightness does not mean that Sol have scrimped on comfort or safety. All of the straps are adjustable and meet EN standards, and it does up with Cobra quick-lock T-buckles on the leg loops. It comes with an elastic rig for the speed system and a foot stirrup. The reserve bridle system is independently manufactured, also to EN standards.
Lateral reinforcement offers good load distribution, keeping the pilot comfortable in flight, and the aerodynamic shaping of the back means it has a good, low-drag profile, whilst still having plenty of storage space, including a secure radio holder and water compartment.
The Mountain Light harness is available in sizes M, L and XL.
