Drift have brought out a smaller version of their wearable HD point of view camera.

Compact, durable and easy to use the camera, which is 25% smaller than the previous version, has an integrated LCD screen, wireless remote control, 300-degree rotating lens and 170-degree field of view.

Its tough waterproof casing and multiple mounting options make it ideal for extreme sports, and if the worst does happen, the lens is replaceable. It comes with a selection of mounts, including a new goggle strap.

The camera takes 9MP photos and professional-grade 1080p/30fps and 720p/60fps high-definition video.

It comes with a micro HDMI connector so you can play your movies or watch your photos in hi-definition on your television.

The Drift HD is available from the end of August, at an RRP of US$369.
