Ground hog day again in Southern Oregon at the Rat Race. For the third day the weather keeps pilots on the ground.
Andy Pag speaks to Ken Hudonjorgensen aka Zen Ken, about the Super Clinic for low airtime pilots which is running along side the main competition.
Andrew Berkly shares his unusual landing horror-story (it involves a farmer, a knife, a shotgun, a quadbike and a ruined wing) from the practice day, and Paul Murdoch the local RVHPA club president talks about some of the more unusual ground hazards in the Applegate Valley, including pot farmers and “Attack Lamas”.
(Warning: Contains some swearing.)
