Pro Design’s Jalpa 2 is their EN C replacement for the Jalpa.
Despite enthusiastic owners describing the original as “nearly perfect”, Pro Design say they have succeeded in improving it.
The resultant wing is described as having a high trim speed, remarkable sink rate, wide speed range and an excellent glide, yet amazingly easy, light handling both on launch and in the air.
It is a three-liner with flex-sticks supporting the nose section and a low weight and pack volume.
They say it is built with quality materials and workmanship, and sports their new funky colour scheme that they introduced to all of their gliders in the spring.
It also comes with their Neo Comfort neoprene brake handles, with swivels, and new-design rucksack. Both brake handles and rucksack are also available to buy separately.
The Jalpa 2 comes in three sizes, for 65 – 125kg loads, and two colours.
