Californian company Mophie have launched a new power pack aimed at outdoor lovers. The Powerstation Pro is aimed at anyone who needs extra power for their smartphone or iPad when on a weekend trip.
Mophie said in a press release:
Smartphones are a perfect partner for the outdoor adventurer. A single device that can take pictures, videos, help navigate and help call for help if necessary can literally be a life saver. But all these activities will quickly run down the batteries, so people are very often too scared to use the advanced features. But with a Powerstation PRO on board, a smart phone can last for days on end.
The mophie powerstation PRO holds enough to change most smart phones three or four times over. So you can use your smart phone without fear of running low on juice, even if you are days away from a power source. So now it’s possible to use smartphones as the designers intended.
Any device that takes a charge from USB can be powered by the powerstation PRO. Its 6,000 mAh battery holds enough power to fully charge an iPhone more than three times.
The device is water and dust-resistant and comes in an aluminium and rubber casing.
