Nova have entered the paraglider harness market with their N-10, an all-rounder to suit all pilots from beginners to ambitious cross country flyers.
They have kept the design simple but versatile. This “Volkswagen Golf-class” harness offers plenty of freedom of movement for ground-handling, Nova say, but is easy to slip into on launching and has good back support for comfort on long flights. They add that it transfers the wing’s feedback to the pilot very nicely.
Features include a multi-blade rescue container that uses very strong magnets instead of velcro to close it. The benefits of this are that the reserve can be thrown in multiple directions.
Another safety feature is its 17cm foam back-protector. A back storage compartment and side pockets that can be reached in flight take care of all your carrying needs.
The harness comes in black/red or white/red and two sizes: S/M (up to 180cm) or M/L (180-200cm). It weighs 4.9kg in the smaller size and retails at around 660€.
