French mini paraglider specialists Little Cloud are bringing out a new wing, the Ginseng.

It is a higher-end wing than the highly acclaimed Spiruline, and intended for use by pilots who have at least a year’s mini wing experience.

It will have “even more direct and precise handling”, say the company, though they will retain its long brake travel for safety. “Think hang gliding feel”.

Unsheathed upper and mid lines have improved performance over the Spiruline, but the lower lines are still sheathed for ease of use and abrasion resistance. The aspect ratio has been increased to 5, and the cell number to 34.

Little Cloud say these changes make the Ginseng more efficient in thermals than the Spiruline, and give it a better glide.

The Ginseng will be available in sizes M (15 m2) and L (17 m2), and S (13 m2) on special application.
