Kortel Kolibri paragliding rucksack

Kortel Design’s latest backpack, the Kolibri, was specifically designed for hike-and-fly and vol-bivouac, where carrying comfort is of the utmost importance.

Because the amount of gear you need to carry varies wildly between a morning hike-and-fly and a vol-bivouac adventure, the Kolibri can take up to 80 litres but has a volume-optimising compression system, and an internal glider protection bag that was specifically designed for it and which helps to form its shape. You can add another 20 litres storage space in the form of a detachable top pocket.

The rucksack is framed to shoulder some of the load for you, and the bag has plenty of easy-access external pockets and a drinks-pouch pocket.

One simple zipper closes the pack and makes it easy to load, and a sweatproof liner and external raincover ensure your kit stays dry.

The Kolibri weighs in at around 800g, and will be available from the start of 2015.
