If you’ve always fancied getting a GoPro but couldn’t justify the cost, the company have launched the camera for you.
The Hero is their new entry-level camera that the company says “delivers the same immersive footage that’s made GoPro one of the best-selling cameras in the world – all in a simplified experience that’s easy for everyone.”
It can capture 1080p video at 30FPS and 720p at up 60FPS, this compares with a max frame rate of 120FPS on the top-end cameras. Still captures are 5 megapixel with a 5FPS burst mode compared with 12MP images on the high-end GoPros.
The GoPro Hero makes a perfect cheap entry-level camera for users that don’t need the high resolution output and remote control features of the high-end versions
