Gin have released a new freestyle paramotor wing: the Carve 2. They say it is “tuned to perfection” and aimed at intermediate to advanced pilots looking to practise freestyle, acrobatics, proximity or slalom based manoeuvres.
Gin say advanced pilots will appreciate the 2D steering which allows turns to be initiated either from the centre or tip of the glider, depending on the type of turn they want to make.
Described as “playful and responsive”, especially when flown at higher wing loadings, the Carve 2 features new simplified risers with improved ergonomics. The trimmers are marked in 25% increments and can be magnetically stowed.
Even with its “lively and playful” nature, Gin say the wing reacts “in a precise and predictable way”.
Other features include:
- “High efficiency” reflex aerofoil
- double hang-point risers for all types of suspension system
- colour-coded Edelrid lines for easy identification
The Carve 2 is available in one colour (lime) and four sizes: 18, 20, 22 and 24m² covering weight ranges from 65-140kg.
