Drift Paragliders’ new two-liner EN-C paraglider, the Merlin, is certified in the first two sizes (S and M), with more sizes to follow.
The Czech brand say that after trying both 2.5-line and two-liner prototypes, they settled for a semi-light two-liner design with an aspect ratio of 6.3.
The Merlin is named after a bird, as with the rest of their range, in this case a “small, fierce falcon, and a powerful flier”.
Size S is certified for 77-92kg; M for 88-104kg. Drift say the total line length in the M is just 190m, and the wing has an “unprecedented ratio of performance and passive safety”.
