Davinci have released a new, universal paramotor harness they say demonstrates a commitment to function and safety: the Octave.
The harness weighs 2.7kg and is designed to suit both novice and experienced pilots. A wide range of adjustment allows it to fit pilots of various sizes and the inclusion of soft pads and back support aims to improve comfort by isolating the pilot from frame vibrations.
Davinci say the Octave has low hangpoints and is compatible with any powered paraglider – unless specified otherwise by the manufacturer – which adds to its versatility.
The Octave has four pulleys for a smooth speedbar operation and is certified for clip in weights up to 120kg.
There is an integrated side pocket rescue compartment which can accept Davinci’s Comma and Comma# Light reserves, or any reserve with volume between 5,800-3,500cm3. Davinci say having a dedicated side pocket for the reserve chute “enhances convenience” for pilots, adding that the user-friendly design, reduced clutter and quick deployment reflect their proactive response to customer feedback and industry trends.
