CIVL have called for all pilots who plan to fly in the multi-class Hang Gliding World Championships in Annecy in June to register.
With two days to go until registration closes they say that pilots need to register properly, through their national aero club (NAC), to be accepted. Only 41 out of 111 pilots have registered in the proper way.
The multi class World Champs will see the 13th FAI Women’s World Hang Gliding Class 1 Championship, the 1st FAI World Hang Gliding Class Sport Championship, the 19th FAI World Hang Gliding Class 2 Championship and the 6th FAI World Hang Gliding Class 5 Championship all take place at the same time in the same place.

We are two days from the end of the registration for the multi-class Hang Gliding Worlds in Annecy, France, next June.
The allocation round will take part on 5 April.
So far, 111 pilots have registred themselves, but only 41 have been confirmed by their NAC.
According to our rules (Section 7), it is NOT sufficient that pilots register themselves. Their NAC MUST CONFIRM that in fact they are representing their country.
The following NAC have NOT nominated their pilots yet:
Australia
Argentina
Colombia
Germany (some pilots nominated, 8 waiting for nomination)
Hungary
Italy
Japan
Russia (some pilots nominated, 3 waiting for nomination)
Sweden
Switzerland
Ukraine
Venezuela
The full list and status of pilots registered is online here.
