Australian 400km way!

Quelques images pour vous faire partager l'ambiance en vol de la journée des records. Un peu trop venté aujourd'hui mais vivement le prochain vol!

Posted by Charles Cazaux on Thursday, December 10, 2015

French team paraglider pilots Charles Cazaux and Seiko Fukuoka flew over 400km from Jil Jil (Birchip) in Australia on 9 December 2015.

The pair, who are both Ozone pilots, launched, flew and landed together and have both filed claims with the FAI for world records.

Seiko has claimed the women’s world straight distance record (402km) and women’s world straight distance to declared goal record (366km), and Charles free distance using up to 3 turnpoints (407.5km).

Charles posted the video above on his Facebook page, where there are several more. Details of the flights can be seen on Airtribune: Charles’s here, and Seiko’s here.
