APCO Aviation have updated their hang gliding and paragliding helmet range for 2010.
All three helmets featured below have been manufactured using carbon fibre technology from hand-laid fibreglass, and given narrower, more aerodynamic shapes for 2010. They also have metal mesh-covered ventilation slots and removable, washable, anti-allergic linings. All are available in sizes S to XXL (56 – 64 cm).

The FreeAir II is an open-face, EN 966-certified helmet available in black, metallic red (pictured) or metallic blue. It weighs in at only 500 g.

The Speed II is APCO’s top-of-the-range helmet. It is a full-face helmet, whose stylish, low-drag design and ultra-modern profile APCO predict will make it popular among competition pilots. It uses high-density EPS foam for shock absorption and insulation, and a lacquered finish offers extra scratch protection.
The Speed II weighs 900 g and is available in black only with a tinted visor. Clear or reflective visors can be purchased separately.

The Blade II is APCO’s top open face helmet, and is aimed at paragliding and hang gliding competition pilots. it has the same, short tail shape as the Speed II and the tinted visor, but no chin guard. It also uses high-density EPS foam and a lacquered finish. It weighs 640 g.
