APCO Fun 42 MKII tandem paraglider

APCO have upgraded their tandem paraglider to create the Fun 42 MKII. They say it is now even safer, more responsive and more fun.

In response to customer feedback, they have improved the wing’s launch and ground handling, and significantly reduced the brake pressure. Its in-flight handling is now more direct and precise.

APCO claim that the original Fun 42 was one of the best tandems around in terms of glide ratio, and the MKII version has lost none of this.

It has already been distributed to profesional tandem pilots, and APCO say their feedback has been very good.

Design-wise, it features the latest evolution of Flexon battens®, HIT Valves® on the leading edge for improved stability and wide-range trimmers giving a speed range of 24 – 47km/hr.

APCO have used the same heavy-duty fabrics, which are covered by a three year / 250 hour guarantee, as on the original Fun 42, but have nonetheless managed to shave half a kilo from its weight thanks to design changes.  The 42 m² canopy weighs 8.7kg, and is certified for a weight range of 140 – 230kg.

The Fun 42 MKII is certified En B comes in four colour options.
