Skywalk's marketing man, Reinhard Vollmert

Skywalk’s marketing and sales man, Reinhard Vollmert, has put in a claim to the FAI for the European and World tandem record for speed round a 50km triangle.
Reinhard flew a Join’t2 from Kössen, Austria on 3 April, round the 50km triangle at an average speed of 23.22km/h.
The current record stands at 22.66km/h, and was set by Slovenian Sergej Cujec in August 2008.
Skywalk took a group of record-hunter’s to the Kerio Valley in Kenya this january, and Markus Schapler flew a Join’t2 on a 202.7km out-and-return flight, which has provisionally broken records for ‘Speed over an out-and-return distance of 200 km’ (33.75 km/hr) and ‘Free out-and-return distance’ (208.34 k) categories.
