The Perroix landing field below Planfait in Annecy has doubled in size – great news for the many pilots that use it – but there are very STRICT no-fly zones that pilots MUST respect in order to preserve the landing area.
The club’s Benedicte Saury says, “Please note the forbidden zone in red on the map. If you fly above this house there will not be a landing field any more soon. Please stay at least 20m away from the house and swimming pool”.
Pilots should also note that the glider packing area has moved to the upper edge of the field.
For the summer season (28 June – 31 August 2014) there will be a free shuttle service from the Perroix landing field to Planfait launch.
