How to: Move from EN D to CCC

Paragliding and SIV instructor Malin Lobb discusses the pros and cons of stepping up a class to CCC-level competition paragliders.

There is always trepidation when you move to a higher class of glider. Even if after a few hours of airtime you can’t remember what your old glider felt like, the fear of the unknown always comes out to play. So what can you expect when moving from EN D into CCC territory? And what are some of the common misconceptions about CCC gliders?

Moving up to CCC you might think that the new glider is going to be more aggressive than your old one, but that’s not necessarily true.
