Level wings have released the Fury Max Xlight – a lighter, “more precise” update to the Fury Max.
The Fury Max Xlight is a wing optimised for speed riding that Level Wings say inherits all the essential technical aspects of the Fury Max classic. They stress the Xlight is made for expert riders and pilots: “Caution: This is a beast!”
In the air, Level Wings say the Fury Max Xlight delivers more dive, more precision, more precise roll and a little more “pop” than the Fury Max classic in energy restitution. At the same time they say its advanced structure gives it “extraordinary flight performance in glide”.
The wing has short lines but keeps a longer brake range, making it more suitable for use while skiing – the wing can “follow you more easily”.
It is now available in four sizes: 6.8m pink, 8m purple, 9m yellow and 10.2m green. It weighs 1.3-1.7kg, making the largest 10.5m size lighter than the smallest 6.8m size of Fury Max classic.
Level wings say it will “delight the most demanding of pilots” who want to push speed riding to the max and that little bit Xtra.
