Triple Seven’s Queen
Who wouldn’t want to be Queen for the day? All those baubles to play with, palaces to parade about in, and crowns to wear.
Marcus King adopted his best regal attitude with Triple Seven’s newest offering, the Queen. Pitched at the top-end of the Sports Class and EN C market, it has been “developed for maximum performance in its class and beyond”.
“This puts it alongside other wings that in the past have probably been ‘classic D’ wings but are now in the EN C category,” writes Marcus.
That mean he approached the Queen with a healthy dose of respect – as one always should when dealing with royalty – when he took it out for a royal wave in the skies of southern France.
I was expecting quite a twitchy ride but was immediately struck by the feeling of solidity and security. It’s particularly stable in pitch, and there was no evidence of it being pushed back by the turbulence low down as I rode the warm air of the slopes heading to the house thermal.
