Ozone say their new lightweight paraglider, the Geo III, is the lightest Geo yet, and is even more comfortable and easy to fly than its predecessors.
Based on the Buzz Z3, the Geo III is category EN B (the XS size is EN A) and Ozone say it is for pilots looking for a light wing that is easy to launch and fly and extremely comfortable in the air.
The Geo III is 4.1kg in the ML size, almost 1kg lighter than its predecessor. It uses 36g Porcher cloth on its upper surface, a choice Ozone feel is the right combination of light weight and durability for a glider that can be an every day wing. The bottom surface, which is more protected from abrasion, is made from the lighter 27g cloth, as used on the Ultralite.
The leading edge is reinforced with nylon rods, and it has a new line plan, with 12% less total line than the Geo II used, which transfers to gains in performance.
As well as saving your back and excess baggage charges, because it is lighter the Geo III launches more easily and its behaviour is calmer in flight.
