Nova have released the two-liner EN-C Codex. With an aspect ratio of 6.1 and high passive safety they say it makes “the ideal first two-liner”.
Combining very good performance with stability at high speeds, Nova say you can exploit the whole speed range. Accurate B-steering is a known two-liner advantage, and Nova say the Codex is very easy and comfortable to fly in strong alpine conditions.

The Codex is a “semi-light” design. It is made from Dominico 30D on the leading edge and Porcher Skytex 27C2 on the rest of the upper and lower surface. For the more stressed parts of the interior, Nova have used Porcher Skytex 32 hard, and for the rest, ultra-light Porcher Skytex 27 hard. Nitinol supports mean it can be packed compactly with no need for concertina packing.
It will be available in four sizes, XS to L, with the possibility of an XXS in the future, “if it can be certified without compromising on performance, handling and safety.”
Nova recommend pilots to fly close to the top of the recommended weight range.
